1. Pace of play comes first
Play ready golf. Keep up with the group ahead, not ahead of the group behind. Resolve cards quickly, and never let the game add a stroke of delay to anyone else's round.
2. Respect the course
Fix divots and ball marks. Rake bunkers. Keep carts where they belong. Leave every hole in better shape than you found it.
3. Respect the people
Roast your friends, not strangers. No harassment, slurs, or targeting anyone based on who they are or how they play. Beginners get patience, always.
4. Follow the facility
Club rules, staff instructions, dress codes, alcohol policies, and local law override anything the game suggests. If a challenge conflicts with a course rule, the course wins.
5. Play safe
Never attempt a challenge that risks injury, damages property, or endangers other golfers. Skip it. Nothing in the game is worth an ambulance or a broken window.
6. Keep it honest
No cheating the deck, no rewriting outcomes, no fake scores. The whole thing only works because everyone is telling the truth about a bad round.
7. Handicaps, wagers and money
Our products involve no real-money gaming and no cash-value rewards. Any private bets are between players only, must be legal where you play, and are not our responsibility.
8. Enforcement
Members who violate this compact may lose access to club products, events and membership. Report issues to support@awkwerdclub.com
